Ole Edvard Antonsen is regarded as one of the most outstanding trumpet soloistsworld-wide. After winning the First Prizes of the CIEM-competition in Geneva in 1987 and the UNESCO competition in Bratislava in 1989 he left his position at the Oslo Philharmonic and started his career as a full time performing and recording soloist.
